Wolverhampton Art Gallery, A Unique Wedding Venue

Updated: Jan 9

When you dream of getting married, do you see yourself in a place that is light, linear & modern or majestically traditional? Are you torn between the two options, maybe would like something traditional, but your partner prefers somewhere modern? Would you like your wedding photography to blend old with new?

Wolverhampton Art Gallery: unique weddings and unique wedding photography

Let me introduce you to one of Wolverhampton's latest wedding venues, the exquisite Art Gallery, which I am happy to say has the best of both worlds! Yes it has majestically traditional rooms with beautiful galleries & light, linear, modern areas too! Making it I hasten to add, a truly unique venue to get married in, unlike anything else in Wolverhampton. Then of course it provides a unique opportunity to have wedding photography that transcends both time and style from room to room.

The Art gallery in the centre of Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton Art Gallery - situated in Lichfield Street, is in the heart of the city, with great transport links, parking & excellent facilities. Although Wolverhampton is a bustling city, surprisingly within the Art Gallery there is a refined peace & refreshing calm, a perfect destination to soothe premarital nerves!

In the first photo Norbert Campbell Photography presents the Georgian Room, where all wedding ceremonies take place. This superb room recently underwent a major refurbishment, making it fit for a King or any local Princess for that matter to get married in! This room guarantees some great wedding photography.

In the second & third images Norbert captures two regal poses of the married couple under the watchful eyes of the Lee family, a beautiful oil painting executed by artist Joseph Highmore in 1736. The fresh floral bouquet was created by the award winning Richards Floral Design, Wolverhampton. Thank you Vicky & Jess, a real pleasure as always to work with you guys!

Wolverhampton art gallery, an added bonus

Your wedding ceremony at the Art Gallery has the added bonus of no additional fee having to be paid to the registrar, as this venue is owned by Wolverhampton Council, which is a great saving! Please confirm that this perk is still ongoing.

An integral part of the gallery is the modern, contemporary wing which does indeed provide an entirely opposite mood to your wedding photos. In the fourth photo Norbert Campbell seizes the moment & records the gentle diffused natural light of the modern area, as our lovely couple enjoy one another.

If you are planning to have your wedding ceremony at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, why not get in touch? We have taken many beautiful photos & stunning poses at this lovely venue. Also bear in mind that Bantock House & gardens is also under the same banner and Located just ten minutes’ drive from the centre of Wolverhampton. Bantock House is a Grade II* listed manor house surrounded by 43 acres of beautiful parkland and delightful formal gardens.

Please phone or email us and see why Norbert Campbell Photography is has over 40 5* google rating.

Thank you for your interest and all the best with you wedding plans!
